Aurora Adult NeuropsychologyThis is an adult neuropsychology practicum designed to provide advanced training in neuropsychological assessment. The practicum experience includes primarily outpatient assessments of individuals with a wide range of neurological, medical, psychiatric concerns. Additional experiences with inpatient neurocognitive evaluations and the opportunity to observe intraoperative cognitive monitoring during awake brain surgery may be available.  
Center for Behavioral MedicineThis is an outpatient mental health clinic specializing in comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Students will gain one year experience working with adults and adolescents who struggle with complex challenges related to emotional dysregulation. Training experiences include: psychological assessment, co-facilitating DBT skills group, individual DBT therapy, DBT consultation team, supervision, and participation in research activities.  
Children’s Wisconsin Pediatric Psychology & General PsychiatryThis practicum offers students the opportunity to work with a variety of pediatric programs to develop skills essential to the practice of pediatric clinical psychology. Training experiences include traditional outpatient therapy, consultation liaison, testing, and assessment. Students have the opportunity to work in diverse settings, such as (but not limited to) Psychological Assessment Clinic, Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic, Consultation and Liaison, Eating Disorder Program, Functional Neurologic Symptoms Disorder, and General Child Clinical.  
Medical College of Wisconsin – Family and Community MedicineThe rotation is an exciting, fast paced environment for students interested in the field of health service psychology, brief evidence-based interventions, group therapy program development, consultation, crisis intervention, and psychiatric collaborative care. Students will gain experience working within a primary care outpatient environment interfacing with Family Medicine attending and resident physicians.
Medical College of Wisconsin – Adult NeuropsychologyThe practicum experience primarily provides opportunity for training in administration, scoring and interpretation of a variety of neuropsychological tests that assess various domains of cognitive functioning including intelligence, academics, executive functioning, language, motor/sensory, memory, visuomotor/spatial, attention, processing speed, effort, and adaptive functioning. Students will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse group of patients with memory disorders, epilepsy, TBI/Medicolegal, and general (e.g., general medical issues with cognitive complaints, stroke, learning disability, ADHD, chemo-brain, congenital heart defects, and many others.  
Medical College of Wisconsin – Pediatric NeuropsychologyThe practicum experience provides opportunity for training in administration, scoring and interpretation of a variety of neuropsychological tests while working with pediatric patients with a range of medical/neurological histories. Domains assessed during a typical neuropsychological evaluation include intellectual functioning, motor/sensory, attention, executive functioning, language, visuomotor/spatial, memory, adaptive functioning, social functioning, emotions and behavior. Students will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse group of clinicians including faculty, fellows, psychometrists and other practicum students. The populations served include children ages 0-18. First year students’ experiences will focus on patients aged 6-18.  
Medical College of Wisconsin – Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and General Adult PsychologyThis practicum provides training in DBT and general outpatient adult mental health services. Training will primarily emphasize individual and group intervention in DBT. Patients referred to DBT present with a variety of concerns related to emotion dysregulation. Clinical training includes conducting intake assessment to determine goodness of fit for the comprehensive DBT program or skills training group, co-facilitating DBT skills training groups, and conducting individual therapy. When possible, practicum students can gain supervision and experience in other treatments such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy.
Medical College of Wisconsin – Health PsychologyThis practicum offers practicum experience across a range of health psychology specialties.  Students will be exposed to diverse clinical activities such as consultation, assessment, psychotherapy, and didactic experiences. Clinical health psychology rotations include perinatal mental health, pain management service, behavioral medicine and primary care, trauma and acute care surgery psychological service, and transplant mental health.  
Rogers Behavioral HealthThe Adult OCD/Anxiety residential program (Cedar Ridge) at the Rogers Behavioral Health Oconomowoc location offers students a 12-month placement. This 28-bed program treats adults who come from all over North America and present with complex treatment needs and high levels of comorbidity. Throughout the year, students will gain familiarity with exposures at a residential level and be involved in creating and implementing behavioral based treatment plans for our residents. Students will also have the opportunity to co-lead a weekly CBT skill group with the adult residents, and there are opportunities to shadow many of the other aspects of treatment as well (Art Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Substance Use and Recovery Group, etc.). Students will not carry independent cases but rather function as part of a larger multidisciplinary team.  
UWM University Counseling Services (UCS) of Norris Health CenterNorris Health Center provides outpatient mental health services to the diverse student body of 25,000 undergraduate and graduate students of an urban research university. The position will primarily involve onsite intake assessments, follow-up counseling/psychotherapy and some limited outreach work. Other clinical work will be determined based upon the interests and competencies of the practicum students and the availability of options at the site. These could include group and couple therapy as well as psychoeducational groups.  
Zablocki VA Medical Center – DBTThe Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Consultation Team is an interdisciplinary treatment team providing comprehensive DBT and other DBT-informed services to Veterans diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and other disorders of emotional dysregulation. Practicum students learn the theory underlying DBT and participate in multiple modalities of the treatment: DBT Consultation Team, individual DBT, DBT skills training groups, and ongoing research activities related to psychotherapy outcomes.  
Zablocki VA Medical Center – Consultation/Empirically Supported Intervention ClinicThe General Outpatient Mental Health service provides a full range of care for patients seeking therapy for a variety of mental health conditions (e.g. depression, anxiety; PTSD). Trainees may conduct individual therapy or co-facilitate a variety of groups, depending on interest and availability. For instance, this has sometimes included DBT, ACT, Seeking Safety, or a men’s sexual trauma group. Moreover, trainees have an opportunity to provide individual therapy services in a Short-term Evidence-Based Psychotherapy Clinic for PTSD and Depression, a clinic that offers short-term, weekly intensive therapy.  
Zablocki VA Medical Center – Adult NeuropsychologyOn this rotation, the student will become proficient at administering neuropsychological tests and understanding how results from such testing relate to brain functioning and guide treatment planning. As a regional referral center, the neuropsychology clinic sees outpatients, domiciliary residents, and also geriatric, rehabilitation, medical-surgical, neurology, cardiac, and psychiatry inpatients. The caseload includes a wide variety of patients, ranging from recently returning soldiers to geriatric patients. Common referrals include: memory loss, evaluation of dementia, dementia vs. pseudodementia, closed head injury, executive functioning or personality changes, AD/HD, learning disabilities, demyelinating diseases, and seizure disorders. Competency and decisionality evaluations are also frequently requested.
