Director Jean Creighton will talk about some of her favorite living female space explorers. Jane Luu was a graduate student when she discovered the first celestial sibling to Pluto. Mae Jemison, a trailblazer, was the first Black female astronaut. Wendy Freedman led the team that measured the size of the universe. Jill Tarter started an effort to search for extraterrestrial signals.
