Learn how the Moon’s cycle determines the Lunar New Year, celebrated worldwide by 2 billion people. Follow Pu Chen through an immersive timeline of the preparation for a traditional Lunar New Year celebration as she presents themes of light, food, music, and traditions that accompany the changing of the seasons. Cosponsored by the UWM Southeast Asian American Student Center.
The program will include an indoor stargazing session of the night sky followed by the opportunity to ask questions.
