Jessica Rotier, PhD, RN, CHSE-A, CNE, CNL, of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee College of Health Professions & Sciences (CHPS) has earned the Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator-Advanced (CHSE-A®) credential from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. The CHSE-A designation recognizes advanced leaders in healthcare simulation education and is awarded through a rigorous portfolio-based review process that evaluates expertise, leadership, mentorship, and contributions to the field.
As of January 1, 2025, only 157 individuals worldwide held the CHSE-A credential, making it one of the most selective and respected recognitions in healthcare simulation.
Rotier will be recognized for this achievement at the President’s Diamond Ball during the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (IMSH), the international conference dedicated to healthcare simulation. The event honors individuals who have earned advanced simulation certifications and made significant contributions to the profession.
At UWM, Rotier’s work focuses on simulation-based education, interprofessional learning, and innovative approaches to preparing future healthcare professionals. Her achievement highlights UWM’s commitment to excellence in healthcare simulation and health professions education.
