Redson Machongo is a PhD student in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. His research focuses on maternal and child health, with an emphasis on understanding how social determinants of health (SDoH) impact postpartum sleep health after child birth. Redson is particularly interested in advancing health equity through community-engaged research and the use of large datasets like the All of Us Research Program. Redson's long-term goal is to develop evidence-based interventions that promote better sleep health and mental well-being among marginalized postpartum populations.
