Art Prep Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to come in over the summer months (June-August) to help prep materials for our art programs, such as our Queer Vision Board during Fall Welcome. Volunteers can set their own schedule within our operating hours Mondays through Thursdays.
Volunteers will gain:
– volunteer experience in an LGBTQ+ Resource Center
– introductory skills in art event planning
– some free collage supplies as a thanks!
Volunteers will need to:
– be comfortable handling scissors to cut out pictures from magazines for the duration of your volunteer time (with breaks)
– have transportation to and from UWM’s Student Union
– plan to bring snacks or meals if you plan on staying a long time (we have free coffee and tea)
