Our work is accomplished through student-centered education, outreach, advocacy, and support. Speak at (or Attend) Lavender Graduation
Each year, we celebrate graduating LGBTQ+ students and their allies at our annual Lavendar Graduation. Each year, Lavender Graduation has been our chance to recognize and celebrate individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to UWM LGBTQ+ communities.
The UWM community and alums are invited to attend, and we would love to see you there! The catered, celebratory evening also features a keynote speaker. If you are a UWM alum interested in being a keynote speaker, please contact us.
Donate to the LGBTQ+ Resource Center
This general fund assists the Center’s mission of support, education, and advocacy. Funds may be used to support programs such as films, workshops, training, and other important resources available to our UWM students and community. An investment in the UWM LGBTQ+ Resource Center can help us succeed in our vision of creating an inclusive campus that’s free of discrimination. All proceeds from this fund directly benefit our UWM students and community.

Donate to our Lending Library
We love new books for our lending library! We’re happy to work with community members to pick up book donations locally. If you’re not local, or don’t have a collection to donate from, you can use Amazon to select a book of your choice for our library, or grant one of the “wishes” from our Wish List. Your donation will be valued for years to come!

UWM operates several different centers to support students in their academic, personal and professional growth, and we aim to enhance students’ knowledge and skills both inside and outside the classroom. UWM is also dedicated to preparing our students to meet workforce demands at the regional, state and global levels. The services provided by these centers play a vital role in helping students deepen their understanding of different perspectives and collaborate more effectively with people from various backgrounds and experiences. The centers regularly collaborate with each other and other campus units to provide exceptional programming and services to students, faculty, staff and the community. The centers and their programs and events are open to all students. Some programs and events may also be open to faculty, staff, and the community.
