Description: | The Occupational Projections study shows the fastest growing occupational areas in Wisconsin and the U.S. and links these areas to UWM fields of study. UWM fall enrollments by field of study and corresponding trends in enrollment are linked to occupational projections provided by the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Examining growth by occupation can give an indication of possible demand areas for graduates. The federal government envisioned that colleges and universities could use such data to examine “the relationship of education and training programs to the labor market” and analyze “labor market supply-demand conditions and trends”. |
