PCIT & Resilience in Our Community

July 10, 2018 @ July 10, 2018 - July 10, 2018

Are you interested in learning about the impact of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) in the Milwaukee community? PCIT is an evidence-based intervention offered to caregivers and their children ages 2-7 years old who struggle with externalizing behaviors and/or positive parenting skills. Through the Institute for Child and Family Well-Being (ICFW), PCIT is offered uniquely in the clinic, in the home, or in group settings to better serve the needs of at-risk families.

Please join Katelyn Blair, Ph.D. on Tuesday, July 10th, from 1-3pm for a presentation of her dissertation research findings and discussion of the implications for the use of PCIT with specific populations affected by trauma within our community. This discussion is part of a series related to the ICFW Trauma and Recovery Project, a collaboration with the State of Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and Office of Children’s Mental Health.

*Please note there will be time for networking prior to the event from 12:30-1pm.
