Hope and Healing for Children Who Experience Family Violence

Background

The purpose of this project is to enhance therapeutic services at the Sojourner Family Peace Center (FPC) that aim to promote healing among children and youth who have witnessed domestic violence. FPC will increase its capacity to deliver evidence-informed services while working with partner agencies to link children and families to community-based care. As part of a multi-method evaluation, ICFW will gather qualitative information from participants to learn about their lived experience with family violence and perceptions of FPC services. Quantitative analyses will be performed to document the characteristics of the client population, the services they receive, and expected outcomes over time. Findings will be used to promote continuous quality improvement of new and existing programs at FPC.
