
A new ICFW issue brief focuses on the role that Family Resource Centers play in helping rural families access vital supports. Rural children and adults face a double disparity—they disproportionately suffer from health-related concerns that are compounded by a lack of access to services, resources, and opportunities. Results from a recent ICFW study show that FRCs address these disparities by providing families with direct support, linking families to local resources, and strengthening family ties and community connections.
