MALLT Colloquium

The first MA in Language, Literature, and Translation Colloquium of Fall 2015 will feature the two MALLT students who presented their research at national conferences in the Spring.

Jessica Barg will share with us her “A Post-Soviet Forum for Missed Connections: Heteroglossia in The Time: Night,” a paper that she gave at the “Missed Connections” conference held at Indiana University Bloomington, held last April. Jessica Barg is pursuing a concentration in Comparative Literature within the MALLT program. She also serves as the teaching assistant for the Comparative Literature Program, and she received her BA in Comparative Literature from UWM in May 2014.

Catherine Kirchman will share with us her “Europeana and the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek: EU Cultural Policy through Digital Libraries,” a paper that she gave at the “Converging Narratives: The Personal Meets the National” Conference held at the University of Illinois, Chicago, last April.

Light Refreshments will be served.
