IUE Interns
The IUE facilitates the following district paid internships for students that are in the final semester of their education program. Students from any of the 13 UW System universities can apply to participate, but they must be recommended by their home campus for paid internships. Internships are limited and highly competitive.
The IUE provides professional development for interns in culturally relevant pedagogy, follow-up cohort sessions, mentoring, and community support.
Upon graduation, school districts may offer interviews to interested candidates who would like to continue their career in the host district.
