Academic year 2015-16 was another great year for support from the Yoshio Niho Research Excellence Fund! The details of the three awards are below and we encourage you to contribute to help the fund grow!

Prof. Hamid Mohtadi awarded NSF grant

Prof. Hamid Mohtadi, together with co-researchers, has been awarded an NSF grant. The grant is renewable for up to five years and UWM’s share would total $278,000.

UWM Land Acknowledgement: We acknowledge in Milwaukee that we are on traditional Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk and Menominee homeland along the southwest shores of Michigami, North America’s largest system of freshwater lakes, where the Milwaukee, Menominee and Kinnickinnic rivers meet and the people of Wisconsin’s sovereign Anishinaabe, Ho-Chunk, Menominee, Oneida and Mohican nations remain present.   |   To learn more, visit the Electa Quinney Institute website.
