We are excited to officially start the RE-CHARGE STEM program 2026, a paid program for jook seekers planning to enter the local STEM workforce as laboratory technician. This spring, we spend many hours improving the RE-CHARGE STEM program based on what we learned in 2025. We had many conference calls with Employ Milwaukee, specifically with Veronica Murphy-Sotelo and Becky Kikkert, to shape a new collaboration supporting RE-CHARGE STEM. We had more than 250 applicants this year reflecting the profound interest of job seekers for STEM-related professions. This year we will work together with twenty-one attendees ranging from high school graduates to job seekers looking for an alternative career. The program started today and will be ongoing until the 7th of August.
