The QTT Grants Program facilitates a 6-month professional development initiative in conjunction with the Expanding Agency Award program. The focus of the professional development initiative is on fostering trainee skill development and effective service delivery through clinical supervision. Each participating agency designates a single clinical supervisor that participates in the initiative during the grant period. During the onset of the program a review of literature on clinical supervision was completed and used to develop the supervision practice profile which serves as the supervision practice model for the initiative. Additionally supervisors are provided a supervisor tool kit of accompanying tools and materials necessary in facilitating the supervision model with their trainees.
