The Community Building Workshop and Resource Exchange provides opportunities for our resilient and talented student body to come together to build mutual aid community on campus.
Community Building Workshops
These workshops introduce participants to processes that promote effective interpersonal communication and strong social connections.
Students who have completed community building workshops in the past have said it is one of the most powerful experiences they have had at UW-Milwaukee, allowing them to authentically encounter themselves and others.
Resource Exchange
Resource exchange is a unique form of mutual aid in which members of a community share resources with one another in a way that strengthens community ties and individual well-being.
Combining community building and resource exchange enables participants to exchange their talents and time within the context of an evolving and caring community.
