Two UWM Biological Sciences alumni, Ciara Ayala and Alex Martinez, have been accepted into the new Health Equity Scholars Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin, which focuses on addressing disparities in healthcare. They will receive full tuition for their medical degrees as they learn to improve healthcare equity in Milwaukee.
