Phoenix S. Brown is an interdisciplinary artist and musician based in Milwaukee. Originally from Cincinnati, she earned her BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, with a minor in art history. Her work has been highlighted in solo exhibitions at Hawthorn Contemporary, Wright Museum of Art, and Trout Museum of Art, among others.

Throughout the fall and spring semesters, the Artists Now! Guest Lecture Series welcomes a diverse group of nationally and internationally recognized artists working across traditional, hybrid and emergent disciplines. Join us to explore and expand boundaries of creative visual practices alongside others with an interest in contemporary visual art.
