Biography
Robert Grame is a design educator and designer living and working in Milwaukee. His creative practice balances non-profit focused design activities, which encompass publication, environmental, information and brand design – with design experimentation.
Robert has worked on an array of design projects for a diverse range of national clients. Some of these include the Keweenaw Land Trust, National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, Jentel Artist Residency Program, U.S. National Parks Service, Kansas Artist Craftsmen Association, The Richard M. Ross Art Museum, Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy (Kansas State University), Dan Cavanagh’s Jazz Emporium Big Band, and the Prairie Gateway Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
Robert’s work has been shown in many national and international exhibition sites. These include The Smithsonian Institute – Arts & Industries Building, Liechtenstein National Museum, Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, Museum of Central Academy of Fine Arts (Beijing), The Goldstein Museum of Design, Los Angeles Center for Digital Art, Wuxing Gallery (Shanghai Normal University), Adobe, International Museum of Art & Science, and The Butler American Institute of Art.
