Biography

Kate Ferdinandi (she/her/hers) is a proud Rhode Island native who enjoyed a 15+ year career as a Stage Manager beginning in the northeast and eventually spreading across the country. She moved to Milwaukee in the fall of 2021 to take up the position of Assistant Director of Production and Facilities for Skylight Music Theatre, and took up the Interim Director position towards the end of her tenure there. In July of 2023, she found a new home at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center in the position of Building Manager, which is her professional home today. Her other favorite home away from home is Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she lived and worked for a few years prior to moving to Milwaukee. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, cross-stitching, and cooking up a storm with her partner, Tony.
