Anthropology Professors Ashley Lemke and Mark Freeland co-wrote a paper titled, Naandamo: Indigenous Connections to Underwater Heritage, Settler Colonialism, and Underwater Archaeology in the North American Great Lakes in the Open Access Journal, Heritage, in 2025.
