The 2017 Biochemistry Exam has same design as BC12.  While there are 60-items total, the test is divided into a set of 40 items that comprise the core and an additional 20 items with more advanced concepts tested. This design will allow for two sets of norms to be calculated (which is why the test has two listing here).

The 40-item core test will have a norm calculated with student performances from 1-semester courses. The complete 60-item test will have a norm calculated with student performances from a 2-semester biochemistry sequence.
