Event Services provides a variety of services to the UW-Milwaukee community, including the oversight of approximately 8,500 reservations annually in the 40,000 plus square feet of meeting and conference space of the Student Union. Additionally, Event Services staff manage the information services provided at the Union Information Center, which includes Ticket Services and Lost & Found.

Event Spaces
As the center of campus life, the UWM Student Union has over 27,000 visitors each day during the Fall and Spring academic terms. UWM Event Services oversees the space allocation process of the event spaces in the Student Union.
Event spaces in the UWM Student Union vary in size and shape, and are located on all five levels of the building. Most event spaces in the Student Union can be designed to fit the specific needs of any meeting or event.
Pricing
The UWM Student Union is sustained by student fees, dedicated to shared governance and provides resources for the social, personal and intellectual development of students. Based on this principle, it is the responsibility of Event Services to ensure all entities that reserve space in the Student Union are properly billed for the services that are required to facilitate their needs.
The pricing structure for reservable spaces in the Student Union are designed to ensure the fair and ethical treatment of all clients.

Union Event Services looks to continually upgrade technology kept in-house, as well as working to maintain relationships with local vendors to supplement event technology.
Policies and Procedures
The policies that govern the UWM Student Union are in place to ensure the safety and welfare of all patrons of both the Student Union and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. The Student Union operates under the direction of the policies set forth by the Legislature of the State of Wisconsin, the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System, and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee shared governance.
