Faculty Mentor Nomination Form

Research Mentor of the Year

We encourage students to nominate their mentors for Mentor of the Year. You can choose to nominate your research mentor who is faculty or academic staff. Winners will be presented at the end of the symposium and receive $500 in research travel or supply funds. Deadline to submit a nomination is April 15th.

In 500 words or fewer, please describe why your mentor deserves to be recognized as the Undergraduate Research Mentor of the Year. Please include specific information about the nominee’s mentoring style, mentoring activities, and how they have impacted you as a student and researcher. What have you learned from your mentor?
