Hey there transfer students! I’m Itzel and I’ll be working with students who are interested in transferring to UWM! I’m super excited to get to know you and help you on your way here! I was born and raised in Milwaukee AND I’m a UW-Milwaukee alumna! The city of Milwaukee and UWM both have so much to offer, which is why I love this city!  

In the past I was a dance instructor at a local dance company.  There is where I found my passion of working with students.  Unofficially, I used to give my students advice about my college journey and how they can take my experience with them to learn from.  After that, I wanted to continue helping students but this time officially.  So now, I’m back on campus as a Transfer Admissions Counselor!
