Peer Mentor Application

Peer Mentors work an average of 10 hours per week. The position begins with a starting wage of $11/hour. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better, two semesters of coursework, and a desire to assist peers during their first year at UWM. Peer Mentors are students of leadership, academic skills, and campus knowledge.

Qualifications

Must have completed at least two semesters at the undergraduate level (or an accumulation of 24 university-level credits).
Must maintain good academic standing, minimum 2.5 GPA for applicant consideration.
Must be available to attend all training sessions before the Fall & Spring semesters.
Must possess initiative, responsibility, and good judgement as well as the ability to work. independently with little to no supervision while performing a variety of tasks.
