Our Stories – Veterans Week Display

VA Mobile Vet Center

The VA Mobile Vet Center (MVC) visits the UWM campus on the second week of every month, parked on Maryland Ave., alongside the Architecture Building. The MVC offers confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Services include counseling for needs such as depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST). They can also connect you with more support in VA and your community.

Open House and Ribbon Cutting

Stop by the Military and Veterans Resource Center to tour our space, learn the services we provide and at 6:00 pm we will dedicate the Student Veterans of America shadow boxes, gifted to us by UW-Milwaukee Waukesha, with a formal ribbon cutting.
