Sam Tennis

Sam is the Assistant Director for the LGBTQ+ Resource Center, coming to UWM after finishing their Masters in Education for Student Affairs in Higher Education from Marquette University. He oversees the operations of the LGBTQ+ Resource Center, including supporting the student staff, leading educational workshops, and hosting signature events for the LGBTQ+ Resource Center. They are especially interested in cultivating communities around shared identities, such as gender and romance identities. Sam also leverages their passion for assessment, problem solving, and life-long learning to elevate campus initiatives, student development, and office logistics.
