Seven Bridges Trail is located in Grant Park 25 minutes south of campus. We're hosting a monthly hike to the trail system and we want you to come! The trail is known for its wooded bridges that lead to Lake Michigan's beachfront. Transportation is included. Registration closes 1 day before the trip.

Outdoor Pursuits has brand new sea kayaks equipped to paddle on Lake Michigan! Join us as we launch from UWM's School of Freshwater Science public boat landing on the Kinnickinnic River and paddle out on to Lake Michigan. We'll have epic views of the city's skyline and lighthouse. No previous paddling experience is required. All transportation, equipment, and instruction will be provided.

Did you know that the Milwaukee area is one of the surfing capitals of the Midwest? Lake Michigan is great to learn how to surf and provides a practice ground for bigger water. This surfing class is geared toward first time surfers who have never been on a board before! We will provide wet suits, personal flotation devices (PFD), surf boards, instruction, booties (if needed), and gloves (if needed). You will learn the beginner skills of how to “pop up,” stand up, and control a surfboard.
