Neighborhood Cleanup

Neighborhood Clean‑Ups are volunteer events organized by UWM’s Off‑Campus Resource Center in collaboration with various campus partners. These clean‑ups invite students to help tidy areas around campus by picking up litter and improving local surroundings.

Participating in these clean‑ups offers more than just a cleaner neighborhood—it helps students foster a sense of community and responsibility. Participants learn the value of a healthy environment, gain personal satisfaction from their contributions, and develop teamwork skills while collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds. The events also serve as a meaningful, extracurricular way to engage with and give back to the community.
