Amanda Soika

Amanda serves as a support system for students, a sounding-board for their future plans and pathways, and an advocate for the students she serves. She actively collaborates with staff, students, and faculty to create programming and support systems for UWM’s first-generation community.

Amanda holds a Master of Science in Administrative Leadership and has over 15 years of experience working in the field of education within the higher education, K-12, and non-profit sectors in the City of Milwaukee. In her work, Amanda strives to create spaces where students see a caring team who is willing to listen to them, willing to advocate for them, where they feel safe and supported.
