In a Lonely Place | 35mm print!

When a washed-up screenwriter with a hair-trigger temper (Humphrey Bogart) becomes prime suspect in a Tinseltown murder, his only alibi is a seductive neighbor (Gloria Grahame) with her own troubled past. Nicholas Ray’s emotionally charged thriller is a turbulent mix of suspense-wracked noir and devastating melodrama. An uncompromising tale of two people desperate to love in spite of their demons, one of the greatest films of the 1950s and a benchmark in the career of the legendary Hollywood auteur.
