Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Life

The Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Life plays a critical role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive student community at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee through strategic leadership of operations and student engagement efforts within the Division of Student Affairs (DSA). Beyond divisional leadership, this senior leadership position within Student Affairs provides strategic direction, oversight, and support for departments that directly impact the student experience outside the classroom: University Housing, the Student Union (including Student Involvement), Dining & Retail Services (beginning October 1, 2026), and the Children’s Learning Center. This position leads strategic projects on behalf of the Division, including division-focused employee development, facilities, technological, and other division-level operational matters, large-scale programs, and internal communication efforts in support of DSA’s employee and student goals.
