Prof. Jane Ward presents “The Tragedy of Heterosexuality in Global Context” on Friday, May 5 from 3-4:30 in Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, Room 107. In this talk, Dr. Ward critiques one of the basic premises of the mainstream LGBT rights movement—that heterosexuality is easier than queerness—by asking for whom, and under what conditions, is straightness easier?
