Kayla Yang is an undergraduate student majoring in Marketing Business with a minor in Graphic Design and Communications. Kayla enjoys getting to know and meeting new people. She also enjoys using social media during her free time to connect with others which is a reason for her choice of major. Kayla believes social media brings communities together and hopes to market businesses with her digital and communication skills. During High School, Kayla participated in a variety of clubs including the Hmong Leadership Council and Start Change in her hometown of Sheboygan. As a first year, she is actively involved in many organizations at UWM such as the American Marketing Association, the Asian Student Union, and the Hmong Student Association. Besides wanting to help those in need, Kayla aims to obtain more experience that will benefit and support her in her major.
