  • Keynote presentations by empowering women leaders: Admiral Michelle J. Howard, the first female U.S. Navy Four-Star Admiral, and Tara Schuster, author, mental health advocate and former producer for hit shows such as the Peabody and Emmy Award-winning sketch comedy series, “Key & Peele.”
  • Breakout sessions led by regional experts in technology and AI, personal and professional wellness, organizational culture, communication and leadership.
  • Guided discussion sessions with other participants who share your interests and goals.
  • Closing session on negotiating your worth.

The UWM Women Leaders Conference, celebrating its 16th year in 2025, is a must-attend event. Hosted by the UWM School of Continuing Education—one of southeastern Wisconsin’s leading providers of professional development—this conference features internationally renowned speakers, expert-led breakout sessions, and meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Open to all genders, the conference benefits individuals at any career stage, from those just starting out to seasoned professionals.
