Where to Park
The School of Continuing Education provides a parking discount for program participants in The Avenue parking structure. The structure is entered from Plankinton Avenue between Wisconsin Avenue and Michigan Street.
The early bird daily parking rate of $6.47 can be applied no matter what time of day you arrive. If you arrive later than 9am, please bring your parking gate ticket to the seventh floor to have it validated for the discounted rate.
Please note: Overnight parking in The Avenue structure is not covered by the School of Continuing Education validation and there is an additional cost.

Accessible Parking
For wheelchair accessible parking, park your car on the 4th level at the north end of The Avenue parking structure. From there, enter the building and take the elevator to the 2nd floor. Cross the rotunda to the elevators on the north side of the building (closest to Wisconsin Avenue) and take these elevators to the 6th or 7th floor.
The School of Continuing Education will discount your parking ticket to the $6.47 early bird rate even if you arrive after 9am. Please bring your parking gate ticket to the seventh floor to have it discounted to the early bird rate.
How to Find Our Classrooms and Conference Center
From The Avenue parking structure, enter the Plankinton Building and walk around the rotunda to the elevators on the north side of the building (closest to Wisconsin Avenue). Take the elevators to the 7th floor for classrooms and our Conference Center.
From Wisconsin Avenue, enter the Plankinton Building at the TJ Maxx entrance. Take the elevators inside the doors on the right to the 7th floor for classrooms and our Conference Center.
Hotel Options
If you need to stay in a hotel during your course or conference, you’ll find a number of options within close vicinity of UWM’s School of Continuing Education. Please note that we do not provide refunds or travel expense refunds if a program is canceled. For this reason, we recommend booking travel and hotel accommodations that are refundable or transferable.
