Noleta Franz

Noleta Franz joined Northwestern Mutual in July of 2020. With over 20 years of experience, she oversees the Law Department’s Legal Process Unit which is comprised of subject matter experts who manage a diverse range of third-party legal actions involving NM’s customers, employees, and the field, including subpoenas, garnishments, levies etc. Her team functions as a trusted resource providing essential guidance and protecting the interests of our policy and account owners and proactively preventing any potential liabilities for the company. As an integral part of the Law Department, LPU maintains its commitment to Northwestern Mutual’s reputation, legal integrity, and client services. Noleta also serves as Co- Vice Chair of Northwestern Mutuals Women’s Resource Group and Prior to this she served as the Chair for the NM’s Black Women’s Group VIBE, Visible Intentional Black Excellence.

Prior to joining Northwestern Mutual, she served as Legal Operations Project Manager at Johnson Controls, Inc.

Noleta holds a Master of Organizational Leadership and Administration degree from Concordia University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She is an alumnus of Cardinal Stritch University’s African America Leadership Program – Cohort 11. Her community involvement includes serving as a board member for the Sherman Phoenix Foundation as well as Mentor Greater Milwaukee. She also regularly appears as a guest panelist on The Truth Roundtable on 101.7 The Truth where she provides her insights on community issues.
