Kathleen has been the Executive Director for Ozaukee Economic Development (OED) since 2007. Over that time, OED has become the main economic development agency in the county working on over 100 projects and helping create more than 2,000 new jobs and retaining over 3,000 existing jobs. OED works to promote Ozaukee County as the place to locate or expand your business, while also working with the County and local government on key quality of life issues including housing, transportation and tourism.
Kathleen is on loan from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she has been a staff member of UWM’s Center for Economic Development since 2000. She came to Wisconsin in 1996 to work for the City of Brookfield, prior to that she worked for the City of Monroe, Michigan and earned degrees from Michigan State University and the University of Michigan.
