Reflect on pivotal moments in history at Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc, then wander medieval streets in Bayeux and along the fortified walls of Saint-Malo, which is the city featured in the Pulitzer Prize-winning historical novel All the Light We Cannot See, but Anthony Doerr.
In the picturesque Loire Valley, explore storybook châteaux, complemented by wine tastings and a hands-on cooking experience — creating a rich, immersive journey designed for curious travelers who value culture, history and meaningful discovery.
A free informational trip preview is scheduled for Thursday, January 14 at 1 pm at the UWM Hefter Center, 3271 N Lake Drive. Registration for this preview session will be available on August 4 when registration for fall classes begins.
