Whichever learning path you choose, you’ll benefit from the expertise of our seasoned instructors and the trusted reputation of UW-Milwaukee—providing you with the knowledge and recognition to take your career to the next level.

Why a UWM Certificate?

Designed to meet specific industry needs, our certificates provide specialized skills and improve your workplace value. Certificates offer a broader range of information than microcredentials but are more focused than a degree.

Most certificates at UWM’s School of Continuing Education are offered online and can be completed in as few as 18 months.

Why a UWM Microcredential?

Designed to meet immediate professional needs or enhance specific skill sets, our microcredential programs allow you to upskill quickly and enhance your professional impact. Microcredentials typically cover a narrower scope of information and are shorter in duration than certificates.
