Most of the pollution and trash that ends up in the Milwaukee River ends up in Lake Michigan, where the city of Milwaukee gets its drinking water from.
In order to help keep the Milwaukee River healthy, we’ve decided to work on a trash disposal system that can engage pedestrians and encourage them to put trash in the bin instead of the river.
