About Joe

I’m Joe Kotlan, a 21 year old graphics dude & web junkie residing in Milwaukee, WI with a passion for perfection. I was recently hired at The App Brewery as a UX Designer but I’m always looking for more to do. I found an interest in web design early in college and decided to pursue it further by learning a handful of coding languages including Javascript, query, php, and mySQL. Taking that knowledge I have created a handful of websites that have not only taught me more about design and development but also opened my eyes to how much is out there. Mobile apps are my newest venture as I have started leaning more towards screen design as compared to print. I’m what some call a perfectionist in terms of getting work done, always making sure that everything is finished on time and to my standards. When I’m not busy creating on my MacBook you’ll probably find me out long boarding, cliff jumping, skiing, or doing something else that involves at least a hint of risk. I’m also guilty for being a Marvel fanatic but come on who doesn’t love superheroes?
