Contexture is a photo documentation archive of the unique textures that exist within public spaces along Milwaukee’s Wisconsin Avenue. We aim to highlight often-overlooked details, in order to accentuate the beauty in the mundane and re-instill a sense of wonder into the lives of Milwaukee natives. Through our work, we hope to encourage exploration, promote city pride, and cultivate a heightened sense of awareness.
