The Master of Science (MS) degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders education program in speech-language pathology (residential) at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700. This accreditation signifies that the program has met the standards set out by the CAA in administrative structure and governance, faculty, curriculum (academic and clinical education), students, assessment, and program resources, and that its graduates are educated in a core set of knowledge and skills required to qualify for state and national credentials for independent professional practice.

The most recent accreditation period for the program extended our graduate program accreditation from 2018 – 2026.
