Board of Regents policy (21-9, Appendix A) states that the UWM Foundation should not make direct purchases on behalf of UWM, with very few documented exceptions. Gift funds should be moved to UWM accounts and spent in accordance with purchasing policies. See this useful Guidance document, and call Purchasing or the Controller’s Office with any questions.
