The Prototyping Center offers a wide variety of fabrication services to help inventors realize their dreams. You can find a list of our most common available services and machines below, but we also offer other methods of fabrication such as electronics design and programming, sewing/textile fabrication, painting and detailing, and more. 3D Printing
Our Stratasys Fortus 400mc boasts a 14″x16″x16″ print volume, dissolvable support structures, and a handful of strong plastics.
3D Scanning
Our Edge FaroArm is perfect for reverse engineering and capturing dimensional inspection data, among other applications!
CNC Machining
The bulk of our work touches at least one of our six different CNC machining centers before it makes its way out the door.
Manual Machining
Our shop houses a number of standard machining centers and numerous power tools for everything else we might need to accomplish around the shop.
Welding
Our welding room houses MIG, TIG, and Oxy-Acetylene welders, as well as two downdraft tables.
