When to declare a major

Ideally, you should declare the major as early as possible. Do you know you want to major in International Studies? Then, let’s do it! Declaring early means you can become part of the program right away, receive good advising on course selection and the most efficient navigation to graduation, and engage with us intellectually and socially!

To declare a major in International Studies, simply complete the following steps:

  1. Click on the Declaration of Major Form button below. (Link leaves site.)
  2. Fill out the Declaration of Major Form.
  3. Submit the Declaration of Major Form.

What happens next?

After you submit your declaration request, you will be contacted by one of the undergraduate advisors with a personalized status report and offer to come in to chat.
