Trash Your Unwanted Large Items at Dumpster Day!
Saturday, May 22nd, 2021 | 9 A.M. – 4 P.M.
Dumpster Day is hosted by the UWM Neighborhood Housing Office in collaboration with the Office of Sustainability in the Sciences parking lot at 1900 E. Kenwood Blvd. Thank you to the City of Milwaukee, Dept. of Public Works for helping make this event possible.
If you can’t make it to Dumpster Day but have items to dispose of or donate, keep these bulky item pick-up guidelines and donation centers in mind.
Drop-Off Items: Bring unwanted items to the Sciences parking lot off Kenwood Blvd.
Not Accepted:
- Batteries
- Construction, building, or hazardous materials
- Cleaning supplies (unsealed)
- Fireworks
- Fridges
- Gasoline
- Kerosene
- Lamp oil
- Lightbulbs
- Matches
- Non-flammable gas (i.e. helium)
- Used cooking oils and fats
- Weapons
